iQoo is all set to launch its latest Z-series smartphone in India. The Chinese smartphone maker has confirmed that it will launch the iQoo Z9 smartphone in the country on March 12. Now ahead of the official launch the company has confirmed some specifications of the upcoming iQoo Z9 smartphone.

iQOO Z9 is scheduled to launch in India on March 12th. The brand has been teasing its upcoming device revealing key details like the chipset, colours, cameras and more. The iQOO Z9 is touted to feature the segment’s first MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor. The brand also claims the iQOO Z9 has an AnTuTu benchmark score of over 7.3 lakh making it the fastest device in its segment.

The company has already confirmed that the iQOO Z9 will run on a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor, with the company boasting that it will be the speediest in its category. Additionally, we also know that the phone will have a dual camera setup, with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor serving as the main camera, in which Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) support will also be included.

While the pricing details are yet to be released, it’s expected to be in line with the iQOO Z7, which was priced below Rs 20,000. The smartphone will compete with the likes of the Nothing Phone 2a, which the company CEO Carl Pei has confirmed will be priced around Rs 25,000. The Phone 2a is scheduled to launch in India and globally on March 5.
